Since January 2010, AeroAngel has flown hundreds of children to specialized medical care for free on business aircraft, when no other option exists for safe travel.
Founded by Denver, CO, attorney and pilot Mark Pestal, AeroAngel has provided about $10 million in free flights since its founding.
“It has been an incredible journey to witness the impact AeroAngel has had on so many families over the past 15 years,” said Executive Director Mark Pestal. “Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide a safe, reliable and compassionate flight experience that helps children access the lifesaving medical care they need.”
AeroAngel’s success has been made possible through the generous support of business jet donors, sponsors and individuals who believe in the organization’s mission. Partnerships with flight departments, individual aircraft owners and charter operators, such as flyExclusive, have allowed AeroAngel to fulfill urgent and often time-sensitive requests.
“Looking ahead, we are committed to expanding our reach and ensuring that no child is left behind due to transportation barriers,” said Pestal. “We plan to build new partnerships with aviation industry leaders, increase awareness of our mission and grow our network to serve even more families.”
