By establishing firmer schedules for regulatory reviews and increasing the Federal Aviation Administration’s ability to delegate routine compliance tasks, the bill seeks to streamline the path to market for emerging aerospace technology, many platforms of which will empower business aviation. Supportive senators believe these reforms will help the agency manage its heavy regulatory burden while offering aircraft developers more transparent and predictable standards for bringing their innovations to flight.
