JetZero, a company focused on efficient aircraft that use less fuel, is planning to launch flight tests with its wing-body demonstrator in 2027. The company announced a large round of fundraising for its innovative airframe development.
The wing-body concept reduces drag and increases lift by making the fuselage part of the lift-generating wing area. In turn, this substantially reduces fuel demand. Equally important, production of the next-generation airplane drives American leadership in advanced manufacturing and exports, and strengthens the aviation supply chain.
