Embraer has launched its largest global solar energy initiative at its facility in Melbourne, Florida, in partnership with Florida Power & Light Company.
This new installation features over 1,900 panels and is the company’s first U.S. facility designed for on-site energy offset. It is projected to generate up to 1,800 MWh of power annually, significantly reducing Embraer’s North American carbon footprint and marking a key step toward its goal of using 100% renewable energy globally by 2030.
