Electra, the innovative developer of a hybrid-electric, nine-passenger aircraft with zero emissions has announced its first deal to deliver the product to a Houston-based company. The EL9 uSTOL aircraft from Electra requires only the length of a soccer field, to begin a journey that can take passengers over 300 miles. This new, ultra-short take off and landing aircraft promises to open regional aviation to more passengers without requiring airports.
