SEL CEO Ed Schweitzer’s letter to The Wall Street Journal, published on Oct. 21, notes the news organization, “Gives an incomplete picture of companies that rely on business aviation.” Schweitzer goes on to note that his company, which brings power to small towns from its base in Pullman, WA, is “a 90-minute drive to Spokane, or a commuter flight to Seattle…We now own three business aircraft,” Schwitzer adds. “More than 8,000 different employees have used them to visit customers and suppliers, respond to problems and opportunities, recruit employees and collaborate globally.”
