West Star Aviation is significantly enlarging its footprint at the Chattanooga Airport to better accommodate a rising demand for business aviation aircraft maintenance and repair services. By early 2027, the facility is expected to reach approximately 400,000 square feet through the addition of a specialized new hangar and a substantial expansion of existing workspace.
These upgrades will integrate climate-controlled storage, advanced safety systems, and modernized customer amenities while consolidating several technical shops—including sheet metal and composites—to streamline internal operations and accelerate aircraft turnaround times.
