Reducing emissions in the aviation sector is famously a very tall task.
Whilst the aviation sector currently accounts for just 3% of global emissions, projections suggest that it could be responsible for up to 22% by 2050 if left unchecked, simply because other industries are having greater successes in decarbonisation.
