The Air Charter Association (The ACA) has finalized the selection of fifteen participants for its 2026 training and work placement initiative. Chosen from a highly competitive pool of nearly 200 applicants, the international cohort consists of eight women and seven men aged 18 to 25, representing nations such as Angola, Spain, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom.
Scheduled to begin in August, the initiative kicks off with an intensive week of classroom and practical instruction at London Biggin Hill Airport, after which each individual will be placed with a member company operating in business aviation to gain hands-on experience tailored to their desired career trajectory.
During their placements, the participants will complete an independent research assignment based on their professional experiences before attending the upcoming ACE 2026 trade exhibition in September. The author of the most outstanding project will receive formal recognition at the organization’s annual Air Charter Excellence Awards in October. Leaders from the trade association emphasized that the program serves as a critical bridge for attracting next-generation talent into the specialized field of business aviation, noting that multiple participants from the previous year’s cohort have already secured permanent employment with prominent sector businesses.
Business aviation is on a global mission to grow the economy and create meaningful, rewarding careers in one of the world’s most vital industries.
