French aircraft manufacturer Daher Aircraft has officially broken ground on a new manufacturing facility in Stuart, FL, to expand its global industrial setup.
Speaking at EAA AirVenture, leadership announced that the satellite final assembly site will support production for both the TBM and Kodiak aircraft lines, complementing existing main facilities in Tarbes, France, and Sandpoint, ID.
Alongside the construction update, executive staff highlighted record-setting commercial momentum, noting the highest first-semester delivery numbers in the 35-year history of the TBM series, as well as significant order benchmarks for its newest turboprop variant.
The announcement also highlighted the company’s community engagement initiatives, recognizing public benefit flying and hosting a student exchange program in partnership with the General Aviation Manufacturers Association. Four university interns spent the summer completing technical projects at the firm’s primary assembly lines, developing new production testing tools, ergonomic assessments, and interior maintenance kits. Company leaders celebrated these practical achievements and honored humanitarian flight operations that rely on its utility turboprops for emergency animal transport.
