Responding to growth in business aviation, Fulton County Executive Airport is launching a significant infrastructure project. A primary feature of this expansion is the construction of a dedicated U.S. Customs facility on a site spanning one and a half acres, which will allow global flights to arrive and clear inspections directly at the airfield. Funding for the developments is being provided through a collaboration between the Federal Aviation Administration, the Georgia Department of Transportation, and local county resources.
Civic officials agree that the investment will be key to attracting businesses to the local area. On a national level, business aviation is a significant driver of job creation and economic activity.
Sustainable aviation fuels have the potential to reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions from aviation by up to 80% over legacy fuels. Business aviation, an incubator for investment and innovation of all kinds, supports policies and other measures to advance the production, availability and use of the fuels.
