High Flying Hangars has secured a multi-decade agreement with local municipal leadership to construct an extensive business aviation facility at Boulder City Municipal Airport. Based in Albuquerque, NM, the aviation infrastructure firm successfully concluded negotiations for a 40-year land agreement, accompanied by an optional 10-year extension, on a 36-acre parcel situated on the northern perimeter of the airfield.
Groundbreaking on the $80 million project is slated to commence before the end of 2026, helping alleviate severe capacity constraints across the surrounding metropolitan region.
The planned development will feature business aircraft hangars scaled from 40 to 100 feet in width, enabling the site to accommodate various aircraft sizes, including large business jets. Airport leadership and company leaders emphasized that this venture aligns with efforts to expand local infrastructure, create jobs and meet escalating demand for secure aircraft housing.
