Wittman Regional Airport is set to experience a significant expansion in aircraft storage infrastructure following a Letter of Intent signed by High Flying Hangars. The proposed project will occupy approximately 8.8 acres on the northeastern side of the airfield near the terminal building and the approach for Runway 23, providing direct access to essential aviation services such as fuel and maintenance.
The upcoming development is slated to feature up to 35 upscale aircraft hangars in various sizes, alongside a dedicated 7,000-square-foot clubhouse for property owners. Among the offerings will be large executive units equipped with second-story crew rest areas, full kitchens, and rooftop observation decks. Following this initial agreement, project leaders and airport management plan to advance lease negotiations toward a targeted construction start in 2027.
Business aviation in the U.S. and globally is on a mission to grow the economy and create meaningful, rewarding careers in one of the world’s most vital industries.
