CLIMBING. FAST.’s newest member highlighted the campaign and business aviation’s economic and societal benefits at one of Europe’s largest aviation trade shows.

The Air Charter Association (The ACA) told AERO Friedrichshafen attendees that it joined CLIMBING. FAST. to help tout the industry’s critical role connecting people and expanding access to communities while continuing to advance technologies and raise the bar on sustainability.

“Business aviation delivers huge benefits and the CLIMBING. FAST. initiative is trying to present that,” Glenn Hogben, Chief Executive of The ACA, said at The ACA’s European Regional Forum held as part of AERO Friedrichshafen.

“We’re looking at trying to change some of the narrative around the industry,” including that it “only serves a very small percentage of people. The reality is very different.”

Hogben added, “The air charter industry and business aviation specifically are big employers. They support local and regional communities that are less well-connected and support technological development, particularly financially, with sustainable innovations that are entering the market.”

Earlier this month, The ACA became the 17th organization to join CLIMBING.FAST.
